TAGHEER being part of a mid-term evaluation team in Afghanistan is reviewing the emergency response program run by the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) with the support of IFRC. The mid-term evaluation is reviewing the program relevance & appropriateness, efficiency & effectiveness, and sustainability & connectedness in 5 selected provinces; Kabul, Kandhar, Badhis, Takhar, and Nooristan. The field teams will meet with aid recipients, non-aid recipients, community elders, ARCS branch / provincial managers, ARCS volunteers, and the Governor’s office.
Sustainability is always a challenge in fragile economies and while responding to emergency situations. May I know if you have done this in the past and if you would like to share experiences?
