TAGHEER performs as a Third-Party Monitor for the Afghanistan Humanitarian Crisis Response, a project being implemented by Shanti Volunteer Association (SVA) and funded by Japan Platform (JPF).

This project is supporting crises affected / vulnerable people (mainly IDPs and returnees from Pakistan) in Kunar province to meet their food shortages and control the risk of COVID-19 spread by promoting prevention awareness and hygiene promotion. The project is also working to increase the awareness of Women and men about women’s and child protection issues. The services are being provided to around 1500 families in the three districts (Khas Kunar, Shigal, and Sawkai) of Kunar province.

Our tools include site observation, KAP survey, and interviews to understand if core humanitarian standards are respected. Please share your insights to improve this exercise further.
